My OC Reference for the club

IS HIS HAIR ORANGE WITH BLUE HIGHLIGHTS? OR IS IT BLUE WITH ORANGE HIGHLIGHTS? YOU TELL ME.

Anyway, i had alot of fun working on this! I tried to make him and his backstory as creative as i possibly could and i loved coloring it! I hope i didnt miss anything with this, if i did i hope someone from the club tells me so!

Here's his information!

Name: Shuuta Noburu (Nobu for short)

Age: 17

Fruit Name: Ushi Ushi no mi: Model Giraffe

Fruit Description: Zoan Type: allows a person to transform into a giraffe-human hybrid and a full giraffe.

Specialty: Speed and Agility. He prefers to fight using his hands, and feet, giving kicks powerful enough to break bones with ease. (Giraffes are known for their ability to break a lions skull with a single kick.)

Personality: Calm and friendly. Brushes off insults, and prefers not to argue. He will only get mad if someone attempts to hurt his friends.

Dream: To travel the world and see every island with his own eyes. There is nothing Nobu loves more than seeing new places, and meeting new people. So he dedicates his life to doing so. A secondary dream to him is to create a pirate crew of his own, consisting of as many friends as are willing to join him.

Likes: Traveling, daydreaming, sports, running, sea food, hats, wearing shoes that don't match his outfits, and friendly pirates.

Dislikes: Small places, people who insult his friends and his dreams, burnt foods, pirates who exist only to destroy things and steal from the innocent

Island: Loguetown

Other: Nobu lives off the thought “every man for himself”, but would love nothing more than to meet a group of pirates who would enjoy his company, and talents.

History: (Sorry his story is so long.)

Nobu never knew the names of his real parents, as he was adopted at the age of three by his foster parents which went by the name of Shuuta. Nobu's father was a man of the marines, who wished nothing of his son more than to see him follow in his footsteps. He tried his hardest, training with his father each day with no other objective but to make him proud. Years passed, and Nobu had become a skilled fighter, with great agility. That day his father presented him with an unusual teal scarf like bandana which displayed the Marine symbol on the front of it. He put it in his pocket, and his father brought him to the execution stand to show him something.
As a prize for working so hard all those years, Nobu's father decided to show him what the marines did to the horrible people in this world, telling Nobu that it would make him proud to be a marine. For the first time in all 13 years of his life, he watched a man die before him, and it was the most horrific display he had ever seen. He then knew, this was not what he wanted. He wanted to be free of this fate. He wanted to be a pirate for himself. In the morning, he stole a ship from the dock and sailed away from Loguetown, headed farther into East Blue with the bandana from his father tied around his neck, backwards to hide the symbol of the marines.
For the next 2 years, he sailed the seas, worked to earn money, and bought his own boat. He traveled all of East Blue, visiting every island along the way, and enjoying his time very much. Each and every island was unique to him in its own way. With different traditions, different scenery, different lifestyles, it all made him so excited! He decided he would live this way for the rest of his life.
The day he obtained his fruit, he was working in a market to earn some money for himself. Those around him were panicking due to a pirate ship which had just drifted in near the docks, and running for cover. This was nothing new to Nobu, since so many pirates came and went back in Loguetown. He decided it was time to get his ship and leave. As he ran down the street dodging around those who were running the opposite direction, he bumped into a man carrying boxes filled with bags, and one dropped to his feet. He picked it up and turned toward the running man to offer his bag back, but the man was gone. He decided to take the bag with him, and sailed away from the island before the pirates had docked.
He remained on the ocean for the following week, with no signs of life anywhere. He had no food at all, and only enough water to last him a few more days. But then he remembered the bag he brought with him. He ran into the storage area of his average sized boat, and pulled the bag out of the cupboard. He greedily dumped out all the items in the bag. Inside there were fruits. Apples, oranges, yellow bananas, and then something out of the ordinary. He had never seen such an unusual fruit before! With its long, twisted green stem, and it's reddish-purple color.. It appeared to be a banana, but was it? Did it taste like a banana? He peeled the fruit open, and took a bite, which he soon regretted swallowing. It tasted horrible, and he quickly grabbed onto his water bottle and took a long drink. Then it hit him. What he had eaten, was a devil fruit.
Once he got his ship to dock, he practiced the use of his fruit, and really found it quite useless. What good could come from becoming a giraffe? He surely didn't know, but sooner or later, he discovered that it enhanced his ability to fight using his feet, and strength all together. So for the remaining year he trained harder than he ever had before. He discovered that speed was his strong point, as he could travel so fast he could run on water for certain amounts of time, and even up the sides of buildings. He used this to his advantage if he ever had to escape sticky predicaments with the law.
So recently in his life, Nobu had decided that this beautiful world is the most important thing to him. He determined that traveling the world, seeing every island, and meeting new people in each place would become the goal of his life. He has the free time, so why not make use of it? The only thing Nobu feels is a little lonely sometimes. He hopes one day he will become a successful pirate, with a crew of good friends to travel the world along side him.
